On Matchday Two of the Women’s Super League, Leicester City will take on Arsenal at their home ground, King Power Stadium, on Sunday 29th of September at 15:00pm.

Leicester City faced Liverpool away on Sunday 22nd of September.

 Jutta Rantala is a tactical forward who joined Leicester City at the start of the 2023/24 season and has scored seven goals and she has assisted five in all games.  

 

Arsenal played Manchester City at The Emirates Stadium on Sunday 22nd of September. 

 

 This game finished as a 2-2 draw.  

 

The goalscorers for this game was Frida Maanum and Beth Mead.  

 

Frida Maanum opened the score line in the 8th minute. 

 Frida Maanum has been a standout player for The Gunners.  

 

She is a key midfielder, who has scored and assisted in many counter attacking moments.

A standout player for The Foxes is Ruby Mace. Having previously played in the WSL for Manchester City, she joined Leicester City with a lot of experience.  

 

She is a tactical midfielder and a young talent who has a bright future.
